Acorn Express provides a series of services to our customers.
Among them:
Urgent UK Deliveries
Acorn Express understands how important it is to meet deadlines. So we provide
a vehicle that will be dedicated to you. We will only deliver your goods, to
your destination without other deliveries ensuring that your goods get from
collection point to delivery point in the shortest time possible- Safely.
Once the goods have been loaded, we will telephone you to tell you so. You
will then receive a telephone call once the goods have been delivered. At this
time, you will be notified of where the goods were left (E.g. reception, goods
in, warehouse etc), who signed for them, and at what time. You will then receive
a copy of your signed delivery note a few days later (or one of ours if not
supplied), along with an invoice.
Most destinations are reached same day, dependant on time of booking. (N. Ireland,
Eire, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands dependant on ferries/weather)
Urgent European Deliveries
Acorn Express has been successfully operating this service for over 40 clients
throughout France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Czech
Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Italy,
Greece and Eire.
Telephone calls will be made as with UK deliveries, confirming collection and
delivery details. Copies of delivery notes and CMR's will be sent a few days
after delivery along with an invoice.
All vans used have the relevant European insurances required and are equipped
with European satellite navigation, making the route as efficient as possible.
Most destinations to date are reached within 24hrs of departure. Timescales
are agreed at the time of booking for specific destinations.
European Collections
Acorn Express can collect your consignments from across Europe at a time convenient to you. If we have drivers in the general area of collection we can arrange delivery back to the UK at a 'return' rate.
Alternatively, we could arrange for a dedicated van to travel out especially to collect your goods.

Walk-on Aircraft Freight
Acorn Express will accompany any urgent small parts, destined for any Country
worldwide, at very competitive rates.
Worldwide Air Freight
Our latest additional service is becoming very popular. Acorn Express can arrange the devlivery of your goods from airport to airport, or door to door.
We can arrange customs clearance & payment of all local taxes on your behalf if you choose us to.

Exhibition, Film & Television
Acorn Express have delivered to dozens of exhibitions & events for several clients over the last year, across the whole of Europe.
We have delivered for Whiskey Exhibitions in Prague, Film crews in Budapest & Turin, Boat shows in Barcelona & Golf Tournaments in Norway & Denmark to name a few.
Acorn Express pride ourselves in actually helping crews setup equipment where necessary & assisting in the break down of equipment after events have finished. We offer a full deliver, wait & return service anywhere in Europe & the UK.
European Home Moves
Acorn Express has helped with numerous home relocations throughout Europe over
the last twelve months. Dealing mainly, with those more fragile, or valuable
items that you want accompanied on their journey to their new home. Your items
will be picked up from any address in the UK, and delivered to your new address
in Europe by the same driver, and will not be left unattended (except on the
car decks on the ferries) at any time, ensuring their safe passage.
Expat Services
Our Expat service continues to be very popular amongst the expat communities in
Spain, Greece, France, Portugal & Italy. We can collect your UK purchased goods and deliver
quickly across the whole of Europe.
Recent contracts include;
- 800 bottles of malt whiskey to Nice
- 3 pallets of tea to Barcelona
- 7000 tins of baked beans and soup to Faro
- 8 sets of garden furniture to Thessaloniki
- 6 Motorbikes to Turin
Document Sign & Return Service
Our drivers have been security checked by the police & a major UK bank, & can take time critical loan, credit card & legal documents to any address in the UK or Europe for signiture & return them to the client at any time, day or night.
All of Acorn Express services will be carried out with a professionalism that
is very hard to find in these modern times.
