About Us

Acorn Express was setup in 2005. Born out of the frustration of working for companies that provided poor service and even worse value, for both their drivers, and their customers we decided to branch out on our own, with our own ethics & values.

Acorn Express pride ourselves on offering a fair & transparently priced service throughout the UK and across Europe, giving a bespoke service to our customers in an individual and professional manner. We do not have an office staff that would increase our prices unnecessarily.

We charge by loaded mileage & not on a round-trip basis as with a lot of our competitors. We didn't see why our customers should pay for an empty van to return to base. The only 'extras' to pay for include: tolls, ferries, trains, aircraft, customs & taxes where appropriate.

We operate new reg xlwb Mercedes Sprinters, with full goods in transit & CMR insurance. Fitted with the latest satellite navigation equipment and in constant contact with our customers at all times, we will never let you feel that you are not in control.

We only use sub-contractors with the same values, standards and work ethics as our own, and can supply a number of 3.5t vans at any time, and anything from a car to an arctic with notice.
